Annually, Washington Township hosts several events for its residents and visitors. Every December, Red Run Park hosts its Christmas Event, which includes train rides on the Red Run Express, the lighting of the Christmas tree at Red Run Lake, and the Rouzerville Business Association holds "Breakfast with Santa" for the children. There is a large event that takes place every Halloween, which includes a train ride filled with Halloween decorations, a costume parade followed by a costume contest for all age groups, and fire truck rides sponsored by the Blue Ridge Fire & Rescue Squad. There are lots of baseball games that take place at Pine Hill Regional Recreation Area, and there is a bandstand at Red Run Park for regular entertainment during the weekends in the summer.
