New Route 316 Bridge Project

The Route 316 bridge near Lyons Road at the state line is planned for replacement in the summer of 2010. The bridge will be replaced in two stages in order to maintain traffic on Route 316 during construction. Temporary traffic signals will be installed at the north and south ends of the construction site to allow the single lane traffic to be maintained. Postcards (Project Description) have been sent to nearby residents, fire and police departments, school districts and EMS units in the Borough and Township.

New Marsh Run Bridge Replacement by PennDOT

The PennDOT bridge on Marsh Road near the intersection with Polktown Road will be replaced in 2010. Detour route is shown below and follows PennDOT numbered roads around the construction area. Use the two links below to view the project location and the detour route.
