STREAM   RESTORATION   PROJECT

Dunlap Family Skatepark Has Become a Reality!

The grand opening of the skatepark was held Saturday, April 5th, with over 100 people there.  The opening ceremony featured remarks by Supervisor Carroll Sturm, Mr. Paul Dunlap for whose family the park is named, and Township Manager Mike Christopher.  Later in the afternoon, a trick contest was hosted by Pit Crew of Frederick, MD.  The weather cooperated - it was a beautiful spring day!

Come and enjoy the new skatepark!  Hours of operation of the Pine Hill Regional Recreation Area are dawn to dusk daily, with the skatepark closing 1/2 hour before sunset each day.

Joint Comprehensive Plan Questionnaire Results 

Previously, we mailed out a questionnaire to the residents of Washington Township.  This questionnaire's purpose was to analyze the thoughts and opinions of Washington Township, and to review any suggestions made by the residents.
