Proposed Conservation Zoning Ordinance:

The Washington Township Conservation Zoning Committee has been working for the last 14 months in accordance with Spotts, Stevens & McCoy Engineers & Consultants, to design a draft conservation zoning ordinance. The committee is compiled of local residents from many backgrounds such as farmers, developers, contractors & real estate agents. The committee members have drafted three sections of the proposed conservation zoning ordinance: Agriculture (A), Forest Conservation (F-C) & Low Density Residential (R-1) districts. Posted here are the draft sections for each of the Zoning Districts.
