2007 Wage Tax Payments
As a matter of information to new residents and all citizens of Washington Township, we are required to pay an annual wage tax each year on earned income which is collected and then distributed by the Waynesboro Tax Bureau.

Washington Township residents are required to pay their taxes in person or mail their tax bills with payment to the Township Tax Collector, Donald L. Ambrose at 13013 Welty Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268. Telephone: 717-762-1760
The Township Tax Office will be open during April and August at the following times:
Tuesday - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thursday - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to Noon
During all other months of the year the tax office is open as follows:
Tuesday - 9 a.m. to noon.
Thursday - 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Friday - 9:00 a.m. to noon.
The Township Tax Office is open other hours by appointment. The tax office is closed on all holidays.

January through April the office is open 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
May through December the office hours are: Tuesday through Thursday 8 am to 6 pm and Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
