ATTENTION WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS:
The burn ban put into effect in Washington Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, has been cancelled, effective immediately.
Please note that even when opening burning is allowed, according to the Township Code 288-24 – Burning Prohibition, “It shall be unlawful for any person to burn any brush, demolition and construction waste, recyclable items, and yard waste in Washington Township except as provided in 288-25.”
